The highlight of the presented lot is the plaque of Queen Victoria’s portrait affixed on the base, another plaque depicting a sailing scene affixed on verso. Dates inlaid in blue enamel on the top section “1837 - 1887’, commemorating 50 years. The base partly consists of ebony wood which has a lightweight density.

This lot is over one hundred years old or National Art Treasure, cannot be exported out of India as per Antiques and Art Treasures Act, 1972.
