A magnificent silver candelabra with six scones designed as a flower bud, the top tier supports an open flower shaped glass bowl in the centre, thus partly functioning as an epergne. The centrepiece is decorated with an intricate foliate motif. The leaves jutting out from the holding bowl and scones, add a dimensional effect to the unit. The base of the epergne is decorated with Acanthus pattern and Armorial Bearings stating that it was presented by the people of Rochdale, England, to William Sharman Crawford Esq. of Crawfordsburn for representing them in the British parliament for 11 years.
