A traditional South Indian silver Swami set consisting of a kettle, a creamer, a sugar pot, a fruit bowl, and two distinct styles of flower vases. All pieces part of the set are chased and embossed with goddess figurines revered in India. A distinctive style of silver, traditional South Indian Swami silver originated in Madras during the British rule. Swami in the local Tamil language means god or deity and the silver antiques made in this style are characterised by figures of Hindu gods and goddesses.
