This lot comprises of an exquisite, gilted, boat shaped jardiniere centerpiece which is placed on a mirrored plateau. The centerpiece fulcrums on four lion feet style plinths, furthermore it has integrated handles which are designed with a leaf motif. The mirrored plateau on which the centerpiece rests, is flanked by two distinct coat of arms. The coat of arms on one end showcases a lion with a crown on a blue ground with the motto ‘Je Maintiendrai’. This translates to ‘I Will Maintain’. The crest and the motto represents the Royal house of Netherlands. The second depicts a lion with a crown on a black background with the motto ‘L’Union Fait La Force’ which translates to ‘Strength in Unity’.
