The Fiat 600D was one of those cars that could be spotted ubiquitously on the streets of Italy and Spain right from when it was first produced in the year 1960. 600D was a model launched within the Fiat 600 series or the Seicento as it is popularly known. The Fiat 600 was introduced to the world at the Geneva Motor show of 1955, it was revolutionary for being the first car introduced by Fiat with a rear engine. The 600D took this unique attribute forward, more specifically the presented lot is also a right hand drive. Cars with this specification (RHD) were produced exclusively for the export market, thus were not mass produced.
Provenance : Property of an esteemed Mumbai based collector.
