There are very few bands that stand the test of time and Queen is one of those. This British rock band formed in London in 1970 became the hallmark for rock. Their classic line up was the famous Freddie Mercury on vocals and piano, Brian May on vocal and Guitar, Roger Taylor on drums and John Deacon on bass. Before the band was formed Brian May and Roger Taylor had a band called Smile. Freddie Mercury was a fan and eventually joined them in 1970, consequently renaming the band ‘Queen’.
