The Three Tenors were a popular operatic singing group consisting of Spaniards Plácido Domingo & José Carreras and the Italian Luciano Pavarotti. It was actually Italian producer Mario Dradi who had initially conceived the idea of the three operatic giants performing together in order to raise money for the José Carreras International Leukemia Foundation in the year 1990.
