reputed British artist. The book is an illustrative account of the history of Dacca, Sir Charles D’Oyly successfully produced deft engravings, where he has preserved integral
characteristics of the buildings and various surroundings, as observed. Also to be found are historic accounts of the city along with various important landmarks and instances documented through descriptive note and sketches.
