Stiffened dark blue buckram on hard cover with a leather covering on the spine. Title of the book lettered in gold foil on the top right of the cover as well as on the spine of the book. The book is an elaborate account of jewellery designs and methodologies adopted by craftsmen in Hindoostan. Illustrations and detailed descriptions of the jewellery and ornaments accompanied with an in depth consideration of the history and development of different styles.

A personal note written on the first page and signed by the White Family.
