Description
This lot is a visually elaborate scroll adorned with Kutch chased style, the incorporated scenic element captures the hunting routine of a family living in the woods. The figures of the hunting party display a certain degree of inertia while the deer is depicted with dramatic momentum. The holistic design patterns of nature incorporated in the scroll’s surface propels and smoothly emerges to the fore. The threaded cap has impressive symmetric decorative detailing.

Silver scroll holders were used in the presentation of administrative documents both in Burma and India.
