Prajakta Potnis was born in Mumbai in the year 1980 and completed her studies at JJ School of Art. Prajakta Potnis is a compelling artist and creates her art via mediums like photographs, sculptures, paintings and installations. After having completed her course at JJ School of art, she strived to create a story that narrates the human life via the subconscious. Her solo exhibitions include ‘Time Lapse’ which took place in 2012. Since her real interest lies in interpreting dreams, there is a certain dreamlike aura that surrounds her works.
