The frieze has a smooth inlay of Kashmiri patterns and the boathouse itself is synonymous with the tranquil vibrations of Kashmir.

This vintage Indian tea set is moulded in globular form, while the units have been densely chased with intricately executed ferns and flowers against a matted ground. Hinged firmly with cobra handles and gilt interiors, this tea set reclines with a tilt owing to its Kang technique provenance, which reflects influence of the Orient.
